Looking for a community of students that have a huge interest in microbiology? Join the Flatirons Student Chapter of the American Society for Microbiology!
Reasons to join FSCASM:
-It's free to join! Anyone from high school seniors to postdoc students are welcome. Activities are tailored to specific interests of chapter members.
-FSC provides opportunities for students to network and connect to each other.
-Develop leadership skills and it's great to add to your CV.
-Upon graduation you receive a FSC graduation cord.
-Get opportunities to meet professionals in microbiology and learn about different career paths within research and industry.
-Most meetings are over zoom so that students from several universities can join. The chapter is based at CU Boulder but is happy to take students from other institutions.

Eligibility Requirements

Current ASM membership. If you are not an ASM member, you can join or renew online.

Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, graduate student, or Ph.D. candidate, or have earned a degree within the past five years.

Demonstrate leadership and engagement within their scientific, academic, or professional community.
-
At least 5 hours per month to commit to ambassador activities.
